Adani Power shares rise 3% on 8.1% stake sale to GQG, others
Shares of Adani Power jumped over 3% to the day’s high of Rs 288.30 on the NSE in Thursday’s early trade following an 8.1% stake sale to the US-based investment firm GQG, along with other investors in a $1.1 billion deal on Wednesday.
The buying action was accompanied by significant volumes as over 38.72 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE. The stock is currently trading at a 34% discount to its 52-week high of Rs 432.50 on the NSE.
