Adani Power shares jump 3% after 25-year, 2,400 MW power supply deal with Bihar Govt

Shares of Adani Power Ltd (APL) jumped 2.5% to their day’s high of Rs 666.75 on the BSE on Monday, September 15, following the company’s announcement of a major agreement with the Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. (BSPGCL) for the supply of 2,400 MW of electricity.
As per disclosures, Adani Power has signed a 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with BSPGCL for supplying electricity from a proposed greenfield ultra supercritical thermal power plant.
