Adani Power hits 5% lower circuit amid rise in volumes
NEW DELHI: Shares of Adani Power NSE -5.00 % were locked in the lower circuit on Tuesday amid heavy trading volumes. The stock, however, has been among the best-performing stocks on Dalal Street so far this year.
On National Stock Exchange (NSE), 5,61,32,474 equity shares aggregating to Rs 1,814.48 crore exchanged hands. Meanwhile, BSE saw a trade of 2.81 lakh shares aggregating to Rs 9.26 crore.
