Adani Green Q1 profit drops 2%, revenue up 67%

Adani Green Energy Ltd NSE -2.48 % (AGEL) on Tuesday reported a 2.28% drop in its April-June quarter consolidated profit at Rs 214 crore on higher expenses. Profit during the corresponding quarter of the last year was at Rs 219 crore.

The company’s revenue during the quarter, however, was up 67% to Rs 1635.

“Robust growth in revenue and Ebitda or operative profit from power supply is backed by capacity addition, improved solar and wind CUF and high hybrid CUF,” AGEL said in a regulatory filing.
