Adani Gas wing issues clarification on group’s plans for battery storage plant in Gujarat
Adani Total Gas issued a statement on Wednesday clarifying that the report on Adani’s plan to establish India’s biggest battery storage in Gujarat is not related to the company.
“We would like to clarify that the news article titled “Adani plans India’s biggest battery storage in Gujarat” does not pertain to the operations or business activities of the Company,” Adani Total Gas said in a regulatory filing.
Gautam Adani-led Adani Group on Tuesday announced its entry into battery energy storage systems (BESS) business with a 1126 MW/3530 MWh project planned at Khavda in Gujarat, site of the world’s largest renewable energy park.
