Adani Enterprises to enter Nifty 50
Mumbai Adani Enterprises NSE 0.83 %, the flagship company of the Adani Group, will be included in the Nifty 50 index in place of Shree Cement NSE 0.36 %, the National Stock Exchange said on Thursday. After Adani Ports NSE 1.21 %, this would be the second stock from billionaire Gautam Adani’s group to be included in the Nifty. The changes become effective from September 30.
Adani Enterprises shares rallied over 88% so far this year, while that of Shree Cement plunged 21% during this period.
