Absence of signage leaves flyers at airport confused
Chennai: The new international terminal (T2) at Chennai airport has become a hit among passengers because of its new design, increased space and more modern amenities. However, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) may have to do more work to ensure that passengers who come out of the terminal are able to board their cabs or metro rail trains in a hassle-free manner.
All the 26 international airlines have shifted their operations to the new building. However, passengers say that the authorities may have to improve signage at the exit to guide them towards the pick up points for the cabs, domestic terminal, metro rail station and other facilities at the airport.
