Taking a serious view of the “mindless looting” of traders, businessmen, and small and big time industrialists through fixed electricity bills amid curfew or lockdown by the Punjab Power Department, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday demanded immediate relief for them.
The party maintained that in case the Capt Amarinder Singh Government continued its alleged ‘loot’ of the hassled community through hefty electricity bills, AAP’s Trade Wing would be forced to stage a state-wide stir against the attempted ‘loot’. Arora alleged that Punjab Government was hell bent on robbing the commercial consumers like domestic consumers off hands down.
