A few stretches open for traffic, but some Delhi roads still not accessible 2
NEW DELHI: As water level in the Yamuna receded on Saturday, Delhi Traffic Police eased restrictions on a few stretches. However, because of waterlogging, some roads were still closed for traffic movement.
Bhairon Marg, which was opened for traffic in the evening, was again closed for traffic owing to the downpour around 9pm. Traffic was restricted on the Mathura Road carriageway. Vikas Marg, from ITO to Laxmi Nagar (both carriageways), was opened as well, but the vehicles could only move in one lane since a major portion of the road remained flooded. The carriageway from ITO to Laxmi Nagar was also shut for traffic movement.
