73% citizens against India restarting international flights: Localcircles survey

About three out of every four Indians are against the full-fledged opening of international flights from this month-end, as several countries are experiencing a major surge in COVID-19 cases led by BA.2.2 or other sub-lineages, showed a survey by Localcircles.

The survey received 12,618 responses from citizens residing in 294 districts of India. 44% of the respondents were from tier-1 cities, 35% from tier-2 and 21% respondents were from tier-3, 4 and rural districts, the survey company said.
