7 footover bridges to be built soon

In order to facilitate traffic movement and to provide a safe and secure crossing facility for the pedestrians, the national Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC)-the parent body of Rapid Rail Transit Corridor (RRTS) has decided to construct Foot over Bridges (FOBs) at seven locations, infamous on the alignment of Sarai Kale Khan-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor for accidents and traffic congestion.

The seven places where the FOBs will be constructed are Sihani Gate Chungi, Ordinance Factory (Murad Nagar), Railway Road (Murad Nagar), Railway Station Road (Modi Nagar), Modi Nagar Bus Stand, Hapur Road (Modi Nagar — Rajchopla) and Mohiuddinpur. The tender for the same has been floated recently and work will start soon.
