63 roads reported blocked in State
At least 63 roads in different districts have remained closed to traffic due to landslides and other factors resulting from rain in the State. With spells of rain continuing on and off especially in the mountainous regions, the resultant landslides and other factors have continued to cause road blockage in the mountainous districts.
According to information received from the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) on Sunday evening, in the Pithoragarh district the Thal-Munsyari State road is blocked to traffic.
In addition to this road, at least 12 rural motor roads in the district are also blocked. In Chamoli, the Rishikesh-Badrinath national highway number 58 is open for traffic till Badrinath.
However, at least 12 rural motor roads in the district are blocked. Only one rural motor road is blocked to traffic in the Haridwar.
