425-km gas pipeline proposed to meet requirements in Kerala, Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has proposed a 425-km natural gas pipeline to meet the energy requirement in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

The proposed pipeline will connect Petronet LNG’s import terminal at Kochi in Kerala to Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu via Kanyakumari, the regulator said in a notice seeking public consultation.
