41 major roads to be redeveloped ahead of G20 in city: NDMC

Ahead of the G20 summit in the national Capital, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Wednesday said the redevelopment work of 41 major roads and roundabouts in the area including pavement, green berms and illumination, will be designed and executed.

According to the vice chairman of the NDMC, Satish Upadhyay, redevelopment of roads and roundabouts in NDMC area, including pavement, green berms, and illumination with one year maintenance in light of the upcoming G20 Presidency related events in Delhi.

“NDMC has received several correspondences from the G20 Secretariat and other higher authorities related to upgradation and improvement of infrastructure in NDMC area in view of the ensuing G20 Presidency and its related events in New Delhi.
