4 MoUs signed for automobile, steel, solar power plants

Four Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed in the presence of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday for the investment of Rs 2,576 crores for the establishment of automobile, steel and solar power plants.

The Industries Department and Hira Group signed the MoUs which are expected to generate employment for around 10,000 State residents.

Baghel told the event said that industrialists will get better cost by establishing steel plants at Bastar. Adequate government land is available for setting up small industries. It would help to generate employment for the tribes.

As per the MoU, Ms Nanoion Batteries Pvt Ltd, Raipur, will establish a Lithium battery manufacturing plant with production capacity of 50,000 batteries with investment of Rs 13.05 crores.
