4 more waste-to-energy plants in Delhi, corporations say city of two crore people has no option

NEW DELHI: Municipal bodies in Delhi are currently operating three waste-to-energy plants. With four mega projects in the pipeline at various stages of implementation, the capital is set to take a giant leap in favour of ‘controlled incineration’ as its primary method of getting rid of municipal waste.
