343 infrastructure projects show cost overruns of Rs 4.5 lakh crore; 835 delayed
According to a new report, close to 343 infrastructure projects have been hit with cost overruns of over Rs 4.5 lakh crore. According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, 343 out of 1,438 projects (with investments of Rs 150 crore or more), reported cost overruns and as many as 835 projects have been delayed.
