3 held from Nalanda for threatening to blow Ranchi Airport
Three persons were arrested on Wednesday for threatening to blow up Birsa Munda airport of the State Capital. Acting on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kaushal Kishore, the police team has arrested three criminals of Nalanda district.
The arrested criminals include Nirman Kumar, Pappu Kumar and Radhe Kumar. The police have recovered four mobile phones, including the mobile phone used in the threatening incident, from the arrested criminals.
The arrested criminals had called and messaged the airport Director’s official number, threatening to blow up Birsa Munda Airport, demanding extortion of Rs 20 lakhs after which a police team was formed by the SSP in view of the seriousness of the matter.
