2nd international flight with 144 passengers lands in UT

The second international flight, after the lockdown came into effect, to Chandigarh from Kiev (Ukraine) via Delhi landed at the Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) on early Sunday morning (at 3:12 am) with 144 passengers, including 34 from Punjab.

Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan said that the flight included two passengers from Chandigarh, 54 from Himachal Pradesh, 53 from Haryana, and 34 from Punjab which included five from Mohali and one from Rajasthan.

As per the Health Department protocol, all the passengers belonging to Mohali district arriving through International flight have been put in the institutional or hotel quarantine while those coming via domestic flights, have been put under home quarantine for 14 days.
