2 pilots hurt in plane crash

Leaving two pilots on board injured, a small aircraft crashed on the outskirts of the State capital on Saturday.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospital where they were discharged after being given first aid.

SHO of Gandhinagar police station Arun Sharma who reached the crash site, village Badwai at city outskirts, said that the aircraft was heading to Guna from Bhopal but generated some technical snag soon after it took off from Raja Bhoj airport.

Captain Ashwani Sharma was flying the aircraft while trainee pilots Raj and Shami were also on board when it crashed. Raj and Shami sustained injuries in the incident. Police and administrative officials reached the spot after the incident.
