12 new sub-stations in 8 dists being constructed
As many as 12 new 33/11 k.v. sub-stations are being constructed by the Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company in 8 districts falling under the Gwalior-Chambal division. Apart from this, in the existing 20 sub-centers, additional power transformers are being installed and capacity of 13 power transformers is being increased.
In these districts also, 282 k.m. long 33 k.v. line and 378 k.m. long 11 k.v. line is being laid down. In addition, 105 additional transformers, capacity enhancement of 75 distribution transformers and new capacitors in 26 sub-centers are being installed. Concrete arrangements are being ensured by spending Rs 70 crore on all these works to ensure supply of quality power with suitable voltage to farmers in Rabi season.
