1,000 solar lights to brighten city streets
Streets of State Capital city Bhubaneswar will become brighter during night in near future as 1,000 solar lights would be installed in various parts of the city, informed local MP Aparajita Sarangi on Monday.
With an investment of Rs 2.27 crore, the solar lights would be installed with the help of the Union Ministry of Power and monitored by citizens, she said.
Sarangi Tweeted, “Happy to state that we are all set to instal 1,000 solar lights in various parts of Bhubaneswar (Parliamentary) constituency with the help of the Ministry of Power with an investment of Rs 2.27 crore. People will monitor (it). Let’s work for the people as much as possible. That’s the only agenda.”
