10 oil & gas blocks open for bidding
The government has offered ten oil and gas blocks for competitive bidding in the eighth exploration licensing round under the new open acreage policy.
The bids can be submitted through a dedicated e-bidding portal till September 6, according to a statement by the oil ministry.
The ten blocks in the current round are spread across nine sedimentary basins and comprise two on-land, four shallow water, two deep-water, and two ultra-deep-water blocks.
