The Minister of State for Civil Aviation said that airport infrastructure is to see committed investment of around $ 14 to $ 15 billion over the next few years
Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation said on Wednesday that the Central Government is working to ensure that the metro cities have two or three airports in them.
“Delhi airport is adding a fourth runway, a fourth passenger terminal and another passenger terminal. In addition Hindon airport ( on outskirts of Delhi) will be ready to receive flights by March. Besides Jewar airport is coming up which will have two runways. Similarly we are working hard to have Navi Mumbai airport, which will also have two runways, should be ready sometime by 2021-2022,” the Minister said at the India Aviation Summit.
