Developmental bodies, being the arms of government such as the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the city’s civic body and others, apparently are attending to their allotted works with lax interest, charged Sudhakar S Shetty, President, FKCCI, in a release.
To elucidate, the BBMP’s work laying concrete roads recently christened as ‘White Tapping’ is more a wound surfacing in and around Bengaluru without any application of mind suffocating the environment,” he added.
The ‘White Tapping’ is only creating more noise and pollution and reducing the already dwindling ecosystem. “It will not be a surprise if the water from drainages gushes into the residences shortly with the start of rainy season,” he explained.
