The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an FIR against five entities including Karti Chidambaram in the case of bribery of Rs 50 lakh for issuing of visas to 263 Chinese workers in 2011 when his father P Chidambaram was the home minister. These workers were engaged for the installation & commissioning of Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd (TSPL) that was being installed at Mansa district of Punjab.
