Travel from Bengaluru to Mumbai on new superfast train soon: Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
BENGALURU: After decades of anticipation, Bengaluru and Mumbai are set to be connected by a dedicated superfast train. Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced Saturday that the railways will “very soon” introduce such a service linking the two metropolitan cities.
In a video on X, shared by Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya, the union minister said, “We are increasing the capacities of large cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai. Work in both places has progressed very well. Very soon, we will start a superfast train between Bengaluru and Mumbai.”
