Transport Ministry allows bidders a second chance to submit local content requirement certificates
The Roads Transport and Highways Ministry has allowed bidders a second opportunity to submit certification that signifies compliance to the local content requirement clause for procurement in building national highway projects. Companies have now been allowed to submit the required certificate during the technical evaluation of bid if it has not been presented in the technical bid round.
This is an amendment to the standard request for proposal (RFP) and Model Concession Agreement (MCA) documents of Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), build-operate-transfer (BOT) toll, and hybrid annuity model (HAM) projects.
