Tolling begins on Dwarka expressway, NHAI offers 3-day relief for local commuters
NEW DELHI: In a bid to avoid inconvenience to local highway users on Dwarka expressway due to the start of toll collection from Sunday morning, national highways authority of India (NHAI) has decided to keep three lanes on each side of Bijwasan plaza for local traffic for the next three days to pass without paying user fee.
Officials said that locals need to make the “local monthly pass” in the next three days. They added that a large number of camps are being set up to help locals to get the passes. Local passes can be made by people living within 20 km radius of the toll plaza paying Rs 340 for 50 trips in that month.
