TNPDCL hits new milestone: Absorbs 50.8Mu solar power
Chennai: Solar power harnessing reached a new milestone in Tamil Nadu with 50.8Mu of solar energy absorbed into the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd’s grid on Tuesday.
The peak solar generation also recorded an all-time high of 7,276MW on the same day. Previously, 49.3Mu was the highest daily absorption of solar power, while 6,731MW was the peak solar power generation, both recorded on Aug 6 last year.
