Three weeks after closure, traffic woes persist on NH-48 stretch

Catering to 3 lakh passengers a day, the 500-metre stretch on the NH-48, that has been closed for work on the Dwarka expressway project, remains a “choke point” for vehicles going between Delhi and Gurgaon, as well as intra-city commuters. It has been close to three weeks since the stretch (between Rangpuri and Rajokri) was closed, leading to a minimum waiting time of 20-30 minutes.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had announced that it would take at least three months, starting March 13, to complete the four-level stack interchange development work.
