Telangana rains: 3 IndiGo Hyderabad flights diverted to Vijayawada; CM Revanth Reddy urges caution
NEW DELHI: Flyers heading to Hyderabad got an unwelcome surprise on Friday as heavy rainfall forced three IndiGo flights from Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune to be diverted to Vijayawada, raising concerns over worsening weather in the city.
As per news agency ANI, officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) confirmed that the diversions were a precautionary measure to ensure passenger safety amid intense downpours.
