Tadicherla one open cast mine bags safety & five star rating awards
Hyderabad: The Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TG Genco)’s Tadicherla-1 open cast mine won dual honours. It received the first prize for the best practices in safety during the 55th annual safety fortnight celebrations 2023 by the Director General of Mines Safety, Hyderabad Region-1. Additionally, it was awarded the five-star rating award for 2023-24 on Thursday. Union Minister of Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy presented the award at the star rating award ceremony on Thursday in Mumbai. TS Genco Director B Nagya and General Manager (mines) P Mohan Rao received the awards on behalf of Genco. CMD Harish and other officials congratulated the Genco engineers for their best efforts.
