Stand by July 2021 Parliament reply that Sebi probing some Adani cos: Finance Ministry
The Finance Ministry on Monday clarified the Adani issue saying that it stands by its earlier reply to a question in Parliament in July 2021, which stated that “Sebi is investigating some Adani Group companies with regard to compliance with Sebi regulations”.
“The government stands by its reply in Lok Sabha on 19th July 2021 to Q. No. 72, which was based on due diligence and inputs from all concerned agencies,” the ministry tweeted in response to Congress leader Jairam Ramesh.
Ramesh, in a tweet, had stated that the Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary replied in Lok Sabha that Sebi was investigating the Adani Group,
