SpiceJet expands fleet with 5 more Boeing 737s; Daily flights rise to 176

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet has expanded its operational fleet to 35 aircraft after inducting five additional Boeing 737s, including one Boeing 737 MAX, as part of its ongoing network and capacity expansion for the winter schedule.

According to the airline’s statement, the latest induction brings the total number of aircraft added in just over a month to 15, which includes 14 damp-leased planes (two of them 737 MAX) and the reactivation of a Boeing 737 MAX from its grounded fleet.
