SpiceJet emergency landing: Mumbai to Kolkata flight suffers engine failure
A SpiceJet plane headed from Mumbai to Kolkata had to make an emergency landing on Sunday, according to Kolkata Airport officials. Flight SG670 has since landed safely, with authorities withdrawing the full emergency at 11:38 pm.
Airport officials confirmed the safety of more than 170 passengers and crew members, who ultimately landed at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. The plane had taken off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.
