SpiceJet emergency landing: Full emergency at Mumbai airport after SpiceJet flight’s wheel falls off after take-off

SpiceJet flight loses wheel during takeoff resulting in full emergency being declared at Mumbai airport on Friday. An outer wheel of a SpiceJet Q400 aircraft, flying from Kandla to Mumbai, flew away shortly after take-off. The aircraft landed safely, and Mumbai Airport has resumed normal operations.

“On September 12, an outer wheel of a SpiceJet Q400 aircraft operating from Kandla to Mumbai was found on the runway after take-off. The aircraft continued its journey to Mumbai and landed safely. Following a smooth landing, the aircraft taxied to the terminal under its own power, and all passengers disembarked normally,” said a SpiceJet spokesperson.
