RVNL completes sewer line shifting under DH Road for Purple Line ramp
Kolkata: RVNL completed shifting the sewerage lines passing below DH Road inside CMRI Hospital to facilitate the construction of the Purple Line’s 450m ramp, which will link the elevated and underground sections of the metro corridor. A 160m stretch of DH Road will now be widened after pushing CMRI’s boundary wall 5m inside.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), the implementing agency of the 14km Joka-Esplanade (Purple) Line, can proceed with the utility shifting and DH Road widening on the land at 7/1 DH Road, where the Nepal Consulate building is located.
