Railways turn to innovators, asks zones to post operational issues on ‘Innovation Portal’

The Railway Ministry has urged all its zones to actively share their operational challenges on the Indian Railways Innovation Portal, encouraging start-ups, individual innovators, R&D institutes, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs to propose breakthrough solutions.

Launched in 2022, the Startups for Railways initiative opened the doors to collaborative innovation in rail transport. In just four years, the response has been remarkable, with over 4,043 entities signing up on the platform.
