Punjab government launches mission to ensure 24×7 power supply

NEW DELHI: The Punjab government has launched an ambitious ‘Roshan Punjab’ mission aimed at ensuring round-the-clock affordable electricity across the state within a year.

Chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said the initiative would put an end to power cuts and provide uninterrupted supply to homes, farms and industries. “No factory in Punjab will have to pause for electricity. No farmer will be left in the dark,” Mann said.
