Power utility JE, officials face bribery charge, probe ordered
Officials of the Focal Point division of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) are under fire from members of the industry, who have levelled charges of corruption, unnecessary harassment and intimidation against them. It all started after Gyan Mishra lodged a complaint with senior officials of the power utility and the city police that a bribe of Rs 3,000 was demanded from the unit for reconnection of the power supply.
