PM Modi to inaugurate largest Boeing facility outside of US in Bengaluru today | All you need to know

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday inaugurate aircraft maker Boeing’s largest facility outside the United Sates — the Boeing India Engineering and Techonology Center — in Bengaluru.

The Karnataka Development Index’s official X handle has reported that the project — which spans across 43 acres — has been built with an investment of Rs 1,600 crores.

1. The project’s official name is the Boeing India Engineering and Techonology Center (BIETC). According to a government press release, the facility “aims to be a cornerstone for partnership with the vibrant startup, private and government ecosystem in the country”.
