Plane crashes near Louisville Airport; fire, Injuries reported and shelter-in-place issued
A plane reportedly crashed near Louisville International Airport (Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport) on Tuesday afternoon, sending up thick plumes of smoke and prompting a major emergency response. Officials have confirmed injuries and said they received more than 20 emergency calls following the incident. Videos circulating online show a large plume of smoke rising near the airport.
