Phuket-bound GoAir plane returns to Bengaluru after technical glitch
New Delhi: A Pratt & Whitney (PW) powered Airbus A320neo plane operated by GoAir was forced to return to Bengaluru while flying to Phuket on Friday due to technical snags.
This is the second incident with the PW powered Airbus A320neo plane in as many days. However, this particular incident was not engine-related, said a senior official of Indian aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
“On Friday, a GoAir aircraft operating between Bangalore and Phuket was involved in air turn back to Bangalore due to “Door Avionics (AFT) Open indication at 10,000 feet,” the DGCA official said.
