Petrol and diesel prices hiked after 4 months, LPG to cost Rs 50 more

AFTER A gap of over four months, petrol and diesel prices saw a rise on Tuesday as oil marketing companies (OMCs) hiked the prices of both fuels by about Rs 0.8 per litre. The first of what analysts expect will be a series of hikes pushed the price of petrol in the national capital to Rs 96.21 per litre and diesel to Rs 87.47 per litre.
