Parts of Mumbai’s western suburbs face upto 2-hour power outage

Mumbai: Several pockets of western suburbs were hit by a power outage from 7 pm on Tuesday, which lasted for nearly 1.5 to 2 hours, with Adani Electricity consumers in Andheri Lokhandwala, parts of Juhu and Santacruz reporting prolonged disruption. Other affected areas included parts of Bandra, Khar, Versova, Jogeshwari, Oshiwara, Goregaon and Malad, as complaints poured in on social media seeking urgent restoration.

Tata Power changeover consumers, who receive supply on Adani Electricity lines, were also impacted in parts of suburbs, sources said. A senior official from Tata Power said only a few of their consumers were impacted.
