Old Vintage Power Plants

Ten year old diesel vehicles are barred from plying, 15 years old petrol vehicles are also barred, brick kilns, hot mix plants, stone crushers are paused for a few months in Delhi-NCR, but 165 units of coal based power plants of 36,340 MW capacities, over 25 years to 56 years old, continue to guzzle coal, pollute environment, cause health hazard despite orders to retire them.
