Noida International Airport to be inaugurated next month
After missing multiple deadlines, the Noida International Airport (NIA) is set to be inaugurated on October 30, Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu said on Wednesday.
However, flight operations are expected to start only 45 days thereafter.
This comes after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security on Monday granted airside security clearance to NIA, which is a key step for obtaining the aerodrome licence from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
