No power tariff hike in State for ‘22-23
In a major relief for electricity consumers, the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) kept the power tariff unchanged for retail consumers.
OERC Secretary Priyabrata Patnaik on Thursday said the retail supply tariff for Odisha has remained unchanged for 2022-23.
The rural low transmission (LT) domestic consumers who consume power through correct meter and pay the bill in time would get rebate of 10 paise per unit in addition to the existing rebate.
Around 95 lakh electricity consumers in the State would be benefitted due to the decision.
