NH 4-laning: Panels formed for shifting transmission towers

The UT Administration today constituted three high-level panels to coordinate and monitor the progress, timely completion of shifting process of transmission towers and other related issues pertaining to work on the four-laning of the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

According to an order issued here, the division-level committee will be headed by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, as its chairman, while the Managing Director, J&K Power Transmission Corporation Ltd, Jammu, Managing Director, SFC, Jammu, Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu, Regional Officer, NHAI, and Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu, will be its members.
